Curly was known as the frozen dog. The first time SOAR encountered Curly, it was in the middle of winter. He looked like a frozen from all the ice that was stuck to his fur. About a year later, SOAR got a call and Curly was rescued!! He will NEVER go back to living on a chain. Curly lives with his dad and would not have it any other way. He enjoys hiking and hanging out at the house!

Humphrey--FKA as Charlie
Words cannot describe the first time we saw Humphrey. He was tied to a dog house in a big sloppy area of mud. He was freezing and had nothing to keep him warm. It was heartbreaking because we had to leave him the first time. However, we were determined to get him to safety. Thankfully the awesome people of Saving Sunny Rescue in Louisville, agreed to take him into their rescue. He now lives with the best family in the world--each time we think of how he lived before on a chain and how he lives now, brings tears to our eyes. He is SPOILED!
Kasey came to us after living the first couple of years in a dog pen--a very small dog pen. When we first met her, her owners said that she was mean and had to be kept locked up. However, that was far from the truth. All Kayce wanted was love. She went to a great rescue--Big Dogs Huge Paws and found a loving wonderful family!
