If you would like to become a Foster Parent, please contact Tracy with the above contact information! SOAR is always in need of wonderful foster homes for the dogs that we rescue!
Hello! My name is Gracie. I am a sweet puppy who is looking for a furever home! She loves running around with other dogs and she has learned how to use the doggy door to go potty outside. Smartie pants she is! She doesn't know she has a disability, only us humans think she does!
Gracie's ears did not develop like they should have but she does hear. Her sense of smell is amazing. But, her eye are another story--they too did not fully develop and she has two large growths on the outside of each eyelid. They will need to be removed. She is light sensitive and will never see like a normal dog does. Regardless she will have to have her eyes operated on. However, she can'y have any surgery until she is at least 16 weeks old. She is only 14 weeks not. She was born on August 23rd. We do not know what breed she is, but she will be a small dog, she is only about 3-4 pounds.
Betty's mom passed away and no family or friends were able to give her a home. We are guessing her breed to be Schipperke/Rat Terrier. She is only 15-20 lbs. Betty wants to be wherever you are. She he loves to lounge on the couch or sleep in the bed with you. She is respectful of food and doesn't intrude while your eating. She is submissive to other dogs and ignores cats. She is 6+ years old and graying in her muzzle, doggie door trained, spayed, and up to date on Rabies.
This cutie did not come to SOAR in the usual way. A volunteer saw her and her siblings being given away at a Tractor Supply Store in Eastern Kentucky. One look at Pippi and our volunteer couldn’t walk away not knowing what would happen to her.
Pippi is an adorable little Mix breed approximately 11 weeks old. Spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped.
Pippi is a sweet girl who will fit into any home. She needs a home at this age where she will not be left for long hours.
If you are looking for a new member to add to your family, look no further, Pippi will win you over.
Pippi’s adoption fee is 200.00
Meet Roscoe! He is a male Labrador Retriever mix. Too smart this guy is. He is great with all other dogs, very gentle, not a mean bone in his body. He will hold his bladder till he almost floats away. Has never went inside the house. LOVES to ride in the car and gets upset when he can't go. Likes to curl up on the furniture and will get in the bed for snuggle time. Walks great on a leash. Took us forever to come up with a name. It seemed he didn't like any that we tried until we said Roscoe. He is a young dog between 1-2 yrs. old, neutered, microchipped, the works. Roscoe will be a better fit as a second dog instead of an only dog. He likes to play and have the company of a friend! My Adoption fee is $150.00
My name is Jersey! I am a 4-5 year old Chihuahua mix who was rescued from living outside on a chain. I am a very sweet and loving boy who loves to sit on your lap. I am still learning how to be a house dog, so something still frighten me. However, I am coming around and I am starting to learn how good it feels to not worry about living outside again. I love to play in the back yard of my foster home with her dogs. I have only had one accident and I am crate trained. Give me some time to warm up in new situations; I am still getting the hang of things! No children for me please. Please consider giving me a furever home, where I can live the rest of my life happy and SAFE! I am neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
